Trump threatens "very hard" strikes against Iran next week

<p>Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, has ordered a broad reinforcement of forces in the Northern Command following a multi-theater situation assessment, as part of preparations for various attack and defense scenarios.</p><p>Simultaneously, reserve forces will be mobilized to replace regular units being transferred to the northern sector.</p>

<p>The IDF spokesperson stated that as part of Operation Roaring Lion, more than 7,600 strikes were carried out across Iran, alongside over 1,100 strikes in Lebanon against Hezbollah targets, including Radwan Force positions, missile launchers, and command and control buildings.</p>

<p>The Pentagon is considering sending additional warships to the Middle East as preparation for escorting oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, the Wall Street Journal reported. Two US officials who spoke with the newspaper said the move is being considered because Iran is intensifying its attacks on the strait.</p>
